The point of a dealer's showroom is scale in context: VitrA pieces stand in full bathroom settings next to the tiles and the joinery, so a WC or a basin is judged inside a finished room rather than on a white shelf.

Grohe, from Germany, is a plumbing-fixtures specialist, meaning taps, mixers and shower hardware. Ideal Standard, based in Brussels, makes sanitaryware and showers. The comparison is mostly about scope. VitrA, founded in 1942 and headquartered in Istanbul, makes sanitaryware, bathroom furniture, brassware and ceramic tiles. The Eczacıbaşı Building Products Group runs 12 plants in 4 countries and earns 70 percent of its income from exports to more than 75 countries. Its annual capacity is 5.6 million pieces of ceramic sanitaryware and 400,000 modular bathroom furniture units. VitrA describes itself as able to "design, develop, and manufacture all the products that are used in a bathroom".

Grohe is a German plumbing-fixtures maker founded in 1936, part of Japan's LIXIL group since 2014, with products sold in 150 countries as of 2017. Ideal Standard, headquartered in Brussels, makes sanitaryware and showers under a brand name dating to 1949; Villeroy & Boch has owned it since March 2024. Neither fact is a ranking. Each maker is strong where it concentrates.

The honest answer is a sequence. A bathroom is specified around its ceramics, because the WC and the basin fix the wall positions and the tile lines. Brassware is chosen afterwards and can come from any maker whose finish matches. A mixed bathroom is normal: VitrA ceramics and furniture with a brassware specialist's mixers, or the reverse. One name, two companies. Vitra with a small "a" is a Swiss family-owned furniture company in Birsfelden, founded in 1950, that makes the work of furniture designers. VitrA with a capital "A" is the Turkish bathroom brand. Wikipedia flags the two as not to be confused, so a search for "vitra furniture lebanon" can mean either. The bathroom furniture at Carré Parfait is VitrA's, and it stands next to Carré Parfait's own made-to-measure vanity units.
